Immunization Requirements
To attend school in Michigan, students must show they have had the required immunizations or file a waiver with the school district.
Parents may file a medical waiver signed by a health care provider or they may sign a waiver for philosophical reasons. Students with a waiver will be out of school when vulnerable to disease covered by the waiver.
All students in the sixth grade and those new to the district must have the following vaccines:

* Varicella vaccine not required if child already had chickenpox disease.
A yearly influenza shot is recommended, but not required, for children age 2 years and older who have chronic health conditions such as asthma and diabetes; please consult your child’s physician.
