Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library is an
organization that helps raise money for the library.
The purpose of the Friends of the Gladstone Library shall be to maintain
a group of volunteers who share the belief that their library is a valuable
asset to their community. These
volunteers are willing to assist in providing funds for the library and are
willing to give their volunteered time to the support and enhancement of its
services.
Our Library has an active Friends
group. Membership is open to anyone
who would like to support the library and its services.
The Friends meet the 4th Wednesday of each month at the Gladstone Public
Library at 1:00 p.m.
Currently, the Friends are fundraising with The Learning Tree. For more information on the Friends Group or the Learning Tree please contact the library at 906-428-4224. Other fundraisers include the Friends of Library Dinner and Membership Drive.
The Learning Tree

The Learning Tree is an oak sculpture that was funded by the Friends of the Gladstone Library. The Learning Tree provides a unique method for families, individuals, high school graduation classes, alumni, organizations, and businesses to support the Gladstone School and Public Library. These funds will keep the library current in technology and reading materials.
Levels of Giving Include:
$200-$399 an engraved
bronze leaf bearing your name or the name of a loved one will be placed on
the Learning Tree.
$400-$599
an engraved silver leaf bearing your name or the name of a loved one will be
placed on the Learning Tree.
$600-$999
an engraved gold leaf bearing your name or the name of a loved one will be
placed on the Learning Tree.
$1,000 or More an engraved stone bearing your name or the name of a loved one will be placed at the base of the Learning Tree
All Learning Tree donations will help support the programs the library provides to children and adults in our community.
