January News

Welcome back to Preschool. I hope everyone had a great Christmas. Attached is January’s calendar. Notice that our book order is due on Tuesday, Jan. 15^th. We are hoping to have a sledding party at the Gladstone Sports Park during that last week of January. More details will follow.

With winter comes a lot of sick preschoolers. Please call the preschool to let us know if your child is sick. Also try to avoid sending sick preschoolers to school.

Now that the Holidays are over, we will be starting to work harder on our numbers. Please encourage number counting and number writing at home. We will also continue to work on our shapes and colors. Also we are beginning to work on letter recognition and beginning sounds. We have come so far. Progress reports will come home in February and Kindergarten Screening in Gladstone will be sometime in March.

We sure hope that all of you who ordered DVDs enjoyed them. Heather Wastell did an awesome job. What a great fundraiser this is for our Preschool. We will be purchasing some new needed items for our classroom. THANK YOU!!!!

Lastly, LaPortes just dropped off the class picture composite for review. Hopefully we will have them back sometime soon.
