Meet Ms. Larson
Hello! Welcome to our web pages.
We hope you enjoy them.
I am originally from Fort Worth, Texas. Somehow, while I was still very young, my parents, sisters and I ended up here in Michigan, and I love it. My education background:
I graduated from the Escanaba Area Public Schools.
Associate's Degree from Bay de Noc Community College
Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Special Education, with a focus on Learning Disabilities.
I began substitute teaching right after college, and continued to do so for several years in the Delta County area, until I was hired full time to teach special education. I have been with the Gladstone Area Public Schools since 1999.
I live in Escanaba with my three kids, two cats, one dog, a chinchilla, gerbil, and some fish. When they are not keeping me busy I like to read, be on the computer, take a bike ride, or cross stitch. On Sundays, however it's the Packer game or the NASCAR race (sometimes both!). During summer vacations we love to go to the local parks and beaches, and camping in the beautiful campgrounds of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan!
