CLASSROOM RULES

I believe that all of my students can behave appropriately in my classroom.  I will tolerate no student stopping me from teaching and/or any student from learning.  It is the student's responsibility to:

1.  Complete all assignments on time.

2.  Return all materials to school within a reasonable amount of time.

3.  Be prepared for class.

4.  Be courteous and respectful at all times.

5.  Be quiet in the restroom and hallways.

6.  Obey all general rules for the school.

CONSEQUENCES

1st             Name on board (warning)

2nd            Loss of one recess

3rd            Loss of all recesses for one day (parents notified)

4th           Student will be sent to the office for the remainder of the day.  If the 
                infraction is deemed severe enough, the student's parents will be called,
                and the parent will be expected to remove the student from the school 
                immediately.  Examples for expulsion include:  endangering another student
                with physical force, refusal to comply to an adult's authority, refusal to 
                complete assignments.  Your child is here to learn, not to be a discipline
                problem.

REWARDS

*On any day when no names appear on the board, all students will be rewarded with an
    extra ten minutes of recess.

*For individual good behavior, a student will receive a ticket which will be used at the
    end of the year for earning prizes.

*Students will be rewarded with special privileges.

*Caught Being Good tickets will also be used.
