Class Rules

1. Respect other people's property.

2. Raise your hand and wait to be called on before speaking.

3. No note passing.

4. Stay in your seat while the teacher is talking.

5. Treat others the way you want to be treated.

6. Don't use foul language.

7. Return all homework

8. Be a constructive student.

9. No talking during instruction.

10. Turn in neat, legible work.

Consequences

1st step-Verbal warning

2nd step-Name on the board

3rd step-For Misbehavior- Go to stay-in room at recess and fill out behavior response form. The form is kept for teacher records. For late homework- Go to stay-in room at recess and do unfinished work.

4th step- Phone call/letter home to parent/guardian and/or possible referral to principal.

After school detention is served after 3 assigned stay-in room assignments are earned in one week. The week is considered from Thursday to Thursday.

If a student has a chronic problem of not turning in homework, or behaving inappropriately, then unfinished homework and/or behavior skill education will be done during classroom end of the month movies, field trips, read-ins, treats and/or rewards.

Rewards

1. Student will join class for end of the month movies, field trips, incentives, read-ins, treats and/or rewards!

2. Positive teacher phone call/note home!!
