About Mr. Saari

I have been teaching in the Gladstone Area Schools system since September of 1999.  During my tenure in Gladstone, my teaching experiences have been broad.  I have taught all five grade levels, excluding Pre-K and Kindergarten, and have even done a year of teaching Physical Education!  My wife, Carrie, and I were born, raised, and now live here in Gladstone and I am happy to be back as a Brave.  I also have two daughters, Olivia and Payton, one of whom is in one of our First Grade classes. I am a 1991 grad of Gladstone and Carrie is a grad of 1994.  We have many friends and family in the area and have been happy to be settled down in Gladstone.  I grew up across from the "New" Gym of the Old High School and attend Jones as a youngster.  It is kind of surreal to be teaching in the same classrooms I was a student.  I hope to make coming to school enjoyable and want the children to be comfortable in my classroom.
