All students in our school system who ride a bus to school are subject to regulations until they get off at their school or the bus stop near their home. Any misbehavior which distracts the driver is a very serious hazard to the safe operation of the vehicle, and as such, jeopardizes the safety of all passengers.
The Gladstone Area School District has rules of student conduct for riding a bus and students will be cited for the following activities:

procedures
b. bringing articles aboard the bus of
injurious nature
c. failure to remain seated
d. refusing to obey driver

i. tampering with bus equipment
j. rude/discourteous/annoying behavior
k. destruction of property
l. other behavior relating to
safety/well-being/respect of others
m. throwing objects in or out of the bus
If your child is reported for any of the above activities, the principal will usually take the following disciplinary action:

the violation to the building principal
