1. Develop Gross Motor Skills by playing hopscotch and jump rope, throwing, catching or bouncing a ball, and hopping or skipping to music.
2. Develop Fine Motor Skills by playing with cubes and blocks, cutting with scissors, finger painting, experiment with clay or folding paper, tracing shapes and completing dot-to-dots and mazes.
3. Play Board Games and/or Card Games
4. Develop Math Skills by sorting and making patterns with household items, identify and count coins, work on telling time to the hour, half-hour and quarter-hour.
5. Develop Writing skills by practicing writing the alphabet from A to Z. (Try to improve speed and accuracy.)
6. Read with your child everyday. As you read point to each word so that he/she develops a sense of left to right. Discuss new vocabulary words and identify rhyming words.
