Dibels
As you know, reading is the foundation of a good education. Therefore, in order to monitor the reading progress of our students, we have administered a test called Dibels (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills). This test enables us to break down the reading process into the following areas:
*ISF: Initial Sounds Fluency
*LNF: Letter Naming Fluency
*PSF: Phoneme Segmentation Fluency
*NWF: Nonsense Word Fluency
*ORF: Oral Reading Fluency
*RTF: Retell Fluency
*WUF: Word Use Fluency
