SPECIAL EVENTS

   

Every fall our class is amazed when we watch the life cycle process of Monarch Butterflies.  We also enjoyed releasing them into our school's "Lasagna Garden".

We had fun learning about the short vowel /a/ sound when we made caramel apples, ate applesauce, and drank apple juice.  We'll never forget the sound /a/ makes!

During Fire Safety Week our class had a visit from Gladstone's Public Safety.  We learned about fire prevention and toured the smokehouse.
